Seapoint Reviews

Richard
This was a wonderful place to stay and the owners clearly put a lot of effort into making it a lovely holiday home. All modern throughout and good quality items, from furniture to kitchen utensils. We had a lovely time. Also really easy to access the beach. Would strongly recommend.
Jeannette
A fantastic property, ideally located with sea views and beach access. Furnished and cleaned to a high standard, we had everything that we needed and more. I would not hesitate to return and or recommend.
Joanne
Our third annual visit as a group of four couples, and once again it was perfect. The house is exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and furnished to a very high standard. Every room, including the bedrooms, has stunning views, and the private beach access makes it ideal in any weather. Plenty of parking, and we made good use of online supermarket delivery again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home we hope to return again very soon.
Jackie
What a fabulous place! Amazing location and the accomodation was first class with everything we could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds too! Would highly recommend!

Seapoint is an absolute amazing place, with fanatic views out to sea. Even Storm Amy didnt spoil our stay, in fact watching the whole strength of the storm from the cozy and warm living room, is something well remember for a long time. We imagine that winter breaks here would also be lovely, with brisk walks on the beach and coming back to a hot chocolate and watching the white horses in the sea. The house is beautifully presented and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The beautiful sandy beach is easily accessible from Seapoint with a beach cafe only a 15 minute stroll away. One of our party is already looking to rebook next year. Throughly recommend!!
Rebecca
Absolutely beautiful place. Already looking to book again. Stunning views and we saw a seal on the beach on our last morning walk.
Alison
Excellent accommodation. Beautiful views, peaceful location and superior interior.
Andrew
Sea point was the perfect spot for our holiday, beautiful house with every comfort we could wish for. Amazing views and great walking right on our doorstep. One of the best properties we have ever stayed at. Would recommend to anyone looking at this area. Lovely holiday home.
Bernard
Had a great stay at seapoint the only dissapointment was when we stripped the bedding before leaving there was a nasty red stain on the mattress protector we was,nt sure whether blood or wine, apart from that we had a lovely holiday.
Incredible property. Hosts friendly and helpful. Can't fault our stay. The view was amazing. Steep but easy access to the beach. Easy to nip up onto the primrose valley site if need any bits from their shop. Would highly recommend x

This is our second stay at sea point and on our first visit the place was immaculate and we re booked straight away. . Unfortunately the cleanliness this time wasnt great. Bathrooms and floors were dirty with sand etc. Taps and toilets hadnt been cleaned. Not what we expected . We did let the owners know who informed us it wasnt their regular cleaner. we cleaned ourselves but this isnt what we expected on our first day. My husband got an electric shock from the free standing light in the living room which was making a sizzling sound , again we reported this and the owner came to collect it a few days later. Thankfully it wasnt any of the children that had attempted to switch the light on. A few days into the holiday builders from up the road decided to dig up the road. This was unbelievably noisy and inconvenient for us to get up and down the road on foot and by car. Again the owner told us he hadnt been notified of this so wasnt aware of the works carried out. This lasted for all of our stay and one morning they woke us up at 7.30am digging up the road outside the house. I had to ask them to do it later as we were on holiday. Unfortunately this wasnt what we expected and whilst i understand some things are out of the owners control we should have been informed of works being carried out. It really did ruin our week at the house. It didnt start great with us having to clean up and also the electric shock. The week then ended with a bus crashing into our car. We are fair people and this was our only family holiday this year. It was unfortunate that this wasnt our week.
Andrew
Amazing location and perfect property. Seapoint had everything we needed for a brilliant family holiday. We will absolutely be booking again!
Absolutely perfect! The house was so comfy and the location, well couldn't be beaten. It was so quiet too apart from the sound of the sea. Heaven. Plenty to do without having to use a car if you didnt want to and for the real ale drinkers amongst us, lovely to have a Wetherspoon on site! We even met Mike the owner who was lovely and gave us a bit of history on the house. 100 recommended.
The property and the location was wonderful. It was lovely to see the sea when you woke in the morning. Everything we needed in the bungalow was catered for. The beds were very comfortable. Outside furniture was ideal for eating, while watching the waves. Very steep grass to get down to the sea, a couple of steps at the top would help as we are in our seventy s, but it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves or our family of Son, Daughterinlaw, Granddaughter and two Grandsons. it was a great family time together and have booked again. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING Margaret Kelley
Nicola
We had a lovely stay at Sea point. Its was equipped for everything and it was so comfortable. We were really pleased with how close it was to walk to the beach too. Lots of time spent sitting outside watching the horses galloping on the beach and the dolphins in the sea! A fantastic spot! Thank you
We loved our stay at Seapoint. Its one of the best weve ever stayed in. The views from the deck are wonderful. It helped that we had really good weather. The house is immaculate, comfortable, it was lovely lying in bed drifting off to sleep listening to the waves. Couldnt fault it. Highly recommended.
Andrea
We loved every aspect of our stay and the views were just amazing. All of our party wanted to return. Thank you
We highly recommend a stay at this beautiful house with a fantastic view. My grandchildren loved the outdoor space and more especially the beach. Its definitely at the top of our list as one of the best we have ever stayed in. It was just perfect.
Beverley
Lovely home. Great view. Easy to get into Filey and Scarborough. Tesco on the way in to Filey is a good size for everything. The downstairs bedrooms are good but if you can't manage stairs the walkin shower is upstairs the downstairs bathroom has a shower over the bath, but the bath is deep if you're unsteady on your legs. We had a great stay. Would definitely return.
Alison
The location was wonderful a stunning view across the bay and it was warm enough to sit on the veranda just watching the sea. Very well equipped and comfortable.
It is a superbly situated cottage for a quiet and restful escape from the Hurley burley of modern life. While still having all the necessary modern facilities for 21st Century living it provides you with the opportunity to relax, restore and regenerate with an amazing view thrown in.
Pauline
The property was amazing, clean, spacious, well equipped and modern. Beds comfy too. Garden large and well maintained . Views and access to beach stunning. Never stayed in a place so gorgeous. Weather was dry sunny and abnormally warm too for March. The section of road that goes down hill to property had not yet been repaired and was awful as my car is low to ground and scraped a couple of times till I realised asking all passengers to get out and walk up was safer. Would like to notify owners 2 things about the showers. Firstly the downstairs shower glass screen leaked water every time it was used despite trying different ways to get it to seal. So we only used the upstairs one. Secondly both bath and upstairs shower tray need something put in them for slipperyness. When wet and mixed with soap shampoo both pretty lethal for any age. These issues did not affect the overall enjoyment of the property. Don't know if they had gone missing or not supplied but we could not find any instructions how to over ride the set central heating temperature or times. There is a fire but that only heated the lounge, and we got up early some mornings and were cold. Overall a fantastic property.
Catherine
This property is just perfect and we loved every minute of our stay. The property itself was clean and everything you would ever need is there. The views are just stunning which just made this such a relaxing stay. My two young grandchildren loved being there too and had great fun. The outside area was ideal for them to play. The beach is very close and is beautiful, lovely to see horses galloping along in the sea! All in all a perfect break with my family and lovely memories made. We all want to go back!!!
Joanne
This property is absolutely beautiful and firstclass, with excellent amenities and a breathtaking sea front location. As returning visitors, we've already booked our stay for next year!
Sharon
Lovely property
Where to start, Seapoint has to be one of the best properties weve ever stayed in! Stunning seaviews, cosy & comfortable. The house was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners provided everything you need for a fabulous stay. I was actually shocked at the size of each room throughout Seapoint, it was so spacious but also really homely, with lots of attention to detail. We stayed here as a family for a break away from reality for a few days. It was everything we hoped for and more. My 3 year old loved the walk down to the beach & we spent a fair few hours down there as we got some lovely winter sunshine. The only fault, which is absolutely nothing to do with the property would be the road, getting down was no problem but my smaller car struggled with the getting back up and out with the crumbling road at the top. Again nothing to do with the property and it wouldnt stop us for going again, could just be my own anxiety of uphill driving. We hope to visit Seapoint again soon! Thank you
Maureen
Beautiful property with fantastic views.
Amanda
Beautifully appointed accommodation in an ideal location. Furnishings and attention to detail are of a very high standard and it is obvious the owners have gone out of their way to make comfort of paramount importance to their guests. Would highly recommend this property and will definitely be returning. Thank you for a fabulous short stay.
Jennifer
Wonderful cottage, very spacious and had everything we needed. It feels very homely and comfortable. The views are spectacular and the beach is one of the best UK beaches weve been on so clean and a lovely walking beach. Weather perfect and great location for visiting local areas. Sitting out on the veranda looking at the stars was special. Wonderful holiday home.
Joanne
This is a beautiful property with stunning views & nice walks along the beach. The kitchen has everything you need for a party of eight. The seating in the living room is a little tight for 8 adults & a couple of arm chairs to look out over the sea would be a great addition. The outdoor seating areas are lovely with various spots to sit depending on the time of day. A BBQ area would have just made it perfect for us, so may be worth thinking about. We had my elderly father with us celebrating his 90th birthday a downstairs walk in shower would be a good addition & there are quite a few steps outside, it might be worth looking at some easy adaptions to make areas more accessible to all. Overall we had a lovely long weekend at this property and would definitely return
Excellent accommodation, there was everything you needed for a home from home stay. Beautiful sea views with glorious sunrises. We could walk to the beach and the coastal path from the property. There are also plenty of lovely places to visit locally.
Michael
The property was absolutely lovely, very well presented and equipped, a real home from home in the most fabulous location with breathtaking views.
Once we found the property, after taking the wrong track, what a joy it was. Beautifully decorated with a very good eye for detail. Very well maintained and equipped. And the view just what we needed. We spent a lot of time on the patio enjoying that sea view. We loved it there and would certainly recommend it and would be happy to return
Alison
What a fantastic place. We have had rentals country wide for over 40 years and never found such a perfect place. The property was so well equipped and decorated and the grounds and view just made it spectacular. The position is central to all of the east coast and Fileys supermarkets etc are 10mins away. There is nothing that can be improved and we have already booked again.
Barbara
We had a long weekend here for a birthday celebration at the end is September. The walks on the beach either to Filey or in the opposite direction to the cafe at Reighton Gap were absolutely fabulous. One of the best beaches for walking, even on chillier days. The views from the house draw you outside and we enjoyed all of the many outside seating options which were sheltered from wind and very warm on colder but sunny days. A very cosy, warm and comfortable property with lots of bright, natural light and tremendous views of the sea and coastline which makes it ideal for all weathers. We will be back!!
A great property. Everything is to a very high standard, beautifully decorated, very comfortable throughout, is well equipped with everything you could want and has fantastic views. The house is in a quiet location with access to the beach. We had a really relaxing week, would love to return. The directions are a bit misleading As you go down the steep private lane at the first fork take the left fork not the Rt as stated at the second fork take the Rt fork.
Sophie
We absolutely loved our stay. A wonderful property and such kind people. Thankyou so much, we will be back
Alfred
Instructions to get to the cottage led us astray. Should say On entering private road at first fork in narrow lane go left, at next fork in lane go right.
