Heather View Lodge Reviews

Emma Collins
Heather View is honestly a lovely spot for a getaway. The quiet village setting is so serene and picturesque, perfect for unwinding. We enjoyed some nice walks right from the doorstep, with cosy cafes and pubs nearby. The house itself is bright, spaciousand super comfy, especially the well-stocked kitchen. The hot tub was definitely a highlight - we spent quite a bit of time in it! David, our host, was really helpful throughout. We've already booked again!
Sarah
We had a lovely stay at Heather View. The house is beautiful and set in amazing countryside. It was very well equipped and so comfortable. We would definitely recommend it wholeheartedly. Unfortunately, we had an emergency while we were there and my daughter ended up in hospital. The owners kindly accommodated us for an extra 3 nights, which honestly made such a difference to the situation - thank you!
Mark
What a lovely spot with brilliant walks around the historic Rosedale! The welcome pack and the instructions from the owner were really thoughtful, which made our stay even better.
Claire
Absolutely brilliant! The house is stunning with the most lovely views. We really enjoyed our week. The house is very well equipped and certainly spacious enough for eight adults.
Jamie
Such a lovely house, it had everything we needed for a relaxing week! Just a heads up, take your own towels for the hot tub, as they didn't provide any.
Emily
We recently enjoyed a family weekend at Heather View and we had a brilliant time! The cottage is really high standard, lovely and comfortableand you can tell the owners have thought of everything. The layout of the living and kitchen area was perfect for us to all sit around chatting and playing games most evenings. The outdoor space was great tooand we made the most of it when the weather allowed. The location was also ideal as we visited a few local towns and villages and had two fab meals out. We would definitely recommend staying at Heather View!
Clara
This is a lovely house, thoughtfully equipped and very comfortable. We loved the sheep theme! The house provides a great base for exploring this spectacular and fascinating area of North Yorkshire. There are plenty of lovely walks straight from Heather View. We had a couple of good meals at the Coach House Inn, where the barman entertained us with great stories about Rosedale and its history! We also recommend the Abbey Tearoom - lovely fare and grate service. We all enjoyed our stay very much.
