Alby House Reviews

Roland
Excellent stay very comfy and ideal for a family get together
Denise
Having stayed in many cottages in this area - Alby House surpassed our expectations- clean, spacious kitchen, lovely stylish bathroom and shower room -the games room was a big hit as was the log burner when the nights got chilly. Great accommodation for large families. Can highly recommend.
Claire
Lovely property and very well equipped. Beds were comfortable and it was good to have the games shed as well for children of all ages! Our one queries was solved very quickly, thank you. Location was very good and there was plenty to do in the surrounding area. Pub was only a few metres away and they served good, well cooked food.
Joan
A spacious family friendly house with everything provided for a wonderful holiday. Well equipped with lots of extras and a perfect garden to relax in. Well equipped with lots of extras. Hope to return as a week not long enough
Lee
Lovely spacious property in excellent location. Great sized enclosed garden for kids and dogs to play in. Fabulous 'games shed' at end of garden with table football and pool table. Lots of books and games to keep guests occupied on rainy days and family evenings .
Alison
We had a very good holiday and the cottage was very well situated and quiet, although I suspect we were rather noisy for our neighbours since we had a ten month baby and a nearly three year old with us. It was well equipped although I couldnâ??t get the stair gate to work and I couldnâ??t find any cleaning products to allow us to clean the house at the end of our stay. We liked the den at the end of the garden and the garden was a very safe place to play for the children. The kitchen was thoughtfully laid out and the two bathrooms were lovely - we particularly liked the bath!
Anita
This an excellently postioned house in a beautiful area. The house was the best equipped we have ever stayed in from everything you need in a kitchen to a great games room. The owners were amazingly responsive and so helpful with excellent communication. Beware though for beach days it is very steep hill down to the bay!! But so worth it. We enjoyed fossil hunting, sandcastle building, rock pooling and paddling.
Norah
A lovely property, felt the photos didn't do it fill justice. We were 3 generations celebrating a birthday and felt the property catered to all our needs. The garden and games room was great too.
Cheryl
We had a really lovely multi generational Christmas in this lovely house set in a stunning location. The house was comfortable and well equipped, the local pubs friendly and welcoming and the setting is spectacular!!
Claire
A really lovely spacious property, well equipped and furnished. The kids in particular loved the garden. Great location, highly recommend the pub next door also.
Simon
Stunning location, lovely house, thoughtfully equipped, even better than the photos
Hugh
Overall we found the Alby House extremely suitable for our extended family of nine. The kitchen is well fitted out for a large group or family. The location for us was perfect as there was access lovely walks and there is a regular bus service along the coast.
