This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location. It is extremely well equipped in the kitchen probably the best Ive ever come across and the welcome gift was a lovely touch thank you. The only negative thing is that it wouldve been nice to have somewhere to put our groceries without rearranging cupboards to fit it in. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful on the couple of occasions that we needed his help too.
This is the second time we've stayed at Valley View in Kettlewell, having first discovered the property in summer 2025. Valley View is very well equipped and comfortable and we had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay. This summer's warm weather meant we could also enjoy sitting outside on the decking to the rear of the property, overlooking Kettlewell Beck!

We had a great time at Valley View. We were a party of 2 adults and 5 kids The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was in a great location to explore the Dales. Parking was no problem we had 2 cars and parked right outside and there was a play park just across the road. The little stream at the back of the property was so lovely. The only issue we had was with hot water for showers but that didnt spoil our stay at all. Would highly recommend Valley View
Wow what a property! The owner of this property has clearly taken time to ensure all visitors have a fantastic stay, providing everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay. The decor is beautiful, as is the house. The small verandah at the back of the property, overlooks the bubbling beck so tranquil! Parking for two cars at the front perfect. Kettlewell is beautiful, with 3 good pubs and a small village shopbut supplies are very limited, so dont be too dependent Overall 1010 we will definitely be back

One word FABULOUS We were a party of 6 adults 3 brothers plus wives and found the house fantastic from the minute we walked in We used the 2 double rooms and the upper twin so we each had our own bathroom it was just for sleeping so we soon got used to the limited head room in the dorma bedroom my husband is 6. 3 ! Each morning we made breakfast in the dining kitchen then went out for the day returning late afternoon for drinks on the patio relaxing to the sound of the brook added bonus weather was great We used the village pubs for our evening meals and treat ourselves at the ice cream parlour each day We would not hesitate to recomend Valley View to anyone

The house is in a lovely location with views down the valley, and the bonus of having our own parking spaces. Plenty of space to sit outside by the brook at the back or out the front by the quiet road. The lounge is comfy and the kitchen diner makes socialising while cooking very easy and relaxing.The welcome pack had tea, coffee, biscuits and milk to refresh us on arrival. It has a good range of cooking equipment and crockery. The top attic room is a bit restricted on height but we didn't need to use it. The location is great for walking with several routes from the door, or catching a bus down to Grassington, and a choice of pubs to eat in. We'd happily return.
Valley View was absolutely lovely. In the heart of Kettlewell, it had a lovely, large kitchen dining area, and a stream out back. It had all the equipment we needed and was beautifully decorated. We were 5 adults 2 parents, 2 adult children and a grandparent, and it suited all of us. Lovely walks from the doorstep and just so peaceful. Added bonus was an air source heat pump and the option of car charging, which was so refreshing. Bedrooms were all a good size with very comfy beds. We all slept well! The owners were very quick to reply and helpful when we contacted them with an issue, which was resolved easily. We would definitely go back.

The place is very nice, comfy and relaxing. Also it's nice quick and there are place to visit and people are very friendly. Furthermore, there is a shop near by for basic thing like milk, bread and etc.

A superb, wellequipped cottage in a great location, which exceeded our expectations it was even better than it looked in the website pictures! The beds were really comfortable, the showers in the bathrooms were great, the kitchen was wellequipped and we loved the outside decking by the brook! We hope to stay again!

We had an excellent stay at Valley View in Kettlewell and would definitely recommend it. It was well equipped with everything needed to be a home away from home, with views over fields and down the valley. My son loved the top floor attic bedroom with its enormous bathroom it was his little retreat. He also loved the PS4 in the lounge. My daughter loved her bedroom with the bunk beds. The decking and babbling beck at the rear of the property was lovely, we only wished the weather during our stay had been a bit warmer so we could have fully enjoyed it. There's parking for two cars in front of the property but there's also a public car park about a 2 min walk away with 2 EV chargers, they're only 3.5kW each but we parked our EV there twice overnight and that gave more than enough charge. There's a good playground with a football pitch very close to the house. Kettlewell has 3 pubs, the takeaway pizzas we picked up from the Racehorses were perfect. We also did a nice circular walk via the pub in nearby Starbotton. With great local amenities, scenic walks, and a truly welcoming home, Valley View is a place we would absolutely return to.

We loved our stay at Valley View. We have stayed in Kettlewell lots of times, it's our favourite place. Valley View really made our holiday. It is a lovely house, really clean and comfortable, and there was everything we could have needed. We'd love to stay again.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this cottage in Kettlewell! The whole group loved it beautifully stylish decor, really wellequipped, and so comfortable. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the village and just a short stroll to the two great pubs we visited. It was also the perfect base for some stunning walks in the surrounding area. A brilliant weekend all around, and were already hoping to come back next year!

A really lovely break in this beautifully decorated and very comfortable accommodation. Lovely and warm. Very well equipped, The Christmas decorations were a lovely welcoming touch.
Cosy, spacious, warm and tastefully finished home for a family of seven which is well equipped, in a great location and has a super view whatever the weather. We also loved that there was a Christmas tree and lights!
What a fabulous cottage. Brilliant location, clean, spacious, charming and well equipped. The owner was very helpful in providing information prior to our stay. Cannot recommend highly enough.
This was one of the very best holiday cottages I have stayed in. The property was thoroughly clean, the kitchen incredibly well stocked with equipment, utensils, crockery etc and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had an amazing three night break and the house offered the perfect space for 2 kids to have space to play PS4! and adults to socialise in the wonderful kitchendiner. Very minor suggestion tricky to manoeuvre round small front door area with wetmuddy boots access to the rear via the decking, if available, might be useful there appears to be access but we were not sure if the side area belonged to the house or not.

What an amazing property! 2 night stay over the bank holiday in this gorgeous village. The property is exceptionally well presented in great taste and equipped with everything Really!! you will need for your stay. The owners are super and respond to any teething problems quickly and professionally. I would recommend Valley View without hesitation and wouldnt pause to think to make a second booking!

Valley View describes the property very well what a gorgeous view from the large, lightfilled windows at the front of this very handsome and comfortable home right in the centre of the lovely village of Kettlewell. It was the perfect base for enjoying the stunning beauty of the Yorkshire Dales with friends and family. Morning coffee and evening drinks on the deck overlooking the stream at the back of the house were the perfect bookends to the day. Not only was everything we needed provided for, but all the furnishings and fittings were like the house itself quality. The very comfortable beds and the sound of the gurgling stream made for very relaxing and peaceful sleep. A huge thank you to our hosts, and we hope to visit again before long!

Great place Stunning location No complaints at all
Overall nice place to stay for a group of 6 adults but would have been squashed if our other 2 had turned up as seating in lounge is limited . Top floor bedroom is very low ceilings with an open stairwell that noise travels up from ground floor and landing window with no blindcurtains for some unknown reason that floods in light early morning .
We loved Valley View! It was clean and warm when we arrived, the whole place is well furnished and so well equipped. There were 4 adults and 4 children, plenty of space for us all. Its also really close to the village playground, you can see it from the house which was ideal. A really good location too for walks from the doorstep and exploring more of the Dales. I would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to return.

We loved this property. The sound of the stream could be heard in the kitchen and 2 of the bedrooms which was really special. Everything was really comfy from the sofa to the mattresses. Location was also gorgeous. 5 stars.
A very comfortable and well equipped cottage in an idyllic setting, backing onto the river and with great views of the countryside. Plenty of room for 7 adults. Kettlewell has 3 pubs serving good food and local beers. Would highly recommend the King's Head.
Perfectly positioned house within Kettlewell village with great views from every window. Really enjoyed the outside seating area. The owner provided everything you need for a relaxing stay. We also enjoyed the scarecrow festival which was an unexpected event and added to the holiday. We will definitely be returning as so much more to explore locally.
An absolutely fantastic property. We only stayed for four nights and our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. Everything about the cottage was perfect the facilities, the comfy bedspillows, the outdoor decking, the lovely kitchen and of course the welcoming bottle of wine! We just loved it!

Gorgeous house in beautiful Kettlewell. Weve stayed in Kettlewell many times over the past 20 years and Valley View is certainly one of nicest properties. We were amongst the first few rentals of this property and as you would expect there were one or two niggles. Nothing major, no mirror in attic bedroom to allow hair drying etc., easy to bump head on the low sloping ceiling in attic room when getting out of bed in the dark. The property has many pleasing aspects, great sound of the beck which runs at back of the property, real house plants, an extra fridge in kitchen, downstairs toilet in utility room and extremely comfortable mattresses to name but a few. Overall a fabulous property, we would love to stay there again in the future.
